Says open at 9 on door. Show up at 9:05 and no one... some people count on you keeping your word and use breaks from work to visit. When you don't honor your obligation you waste that person's time and they don't have enough time to visit another store, because you didn't do your job. Pass, this place doesn't care for your business unless they feel like it.

I went in for a bottled water for the beach. All of the waters were about $2 a piece but I found Ice Mountain was only $1.09 So I picked up two. The clerk charged me $4 when I disputed it he walked with me to the cooler took down the sign and said sorry but they're $2 a piece. He did not offer to sell it to me for the $1.09 that it was priced, and so I took one bottle for $2. To me that is 100% a bait-and-switch which is against the law in the state of Michigan. I will not go there again! I understand they're not going to lose any money on me not returning but because of $1.09 discrepancy they do get a horrible Google review 🤷 . Do better!

Nice store. Many items to choose from. Many varieties of beer in the cooler ready to take to the beach or for your campfire. One of the best party stores I've seen in a while. Only thing is the floor looks dirty, but given that the place is a little old, you can over look it and look at the prize and the reason why you came in.

My father in law owns a cottage in Houghton Lake and walked into this party store. He was looking around when the owner angrily approached him and yelled, ”You’ve been here twice today (he hadn’t been) Leave! Get Out!” My father in law is a retired teacher who does volunteer work on a regular basis, runs marathons and is the sweetest person ever!

The India guy is so disrespectful and rude. He has kicked me out of the store and banned me and my friend because we got upset because he was calling people retartds and he was cussing he is so unprofessional I don't know how he's not fired. He causes the store to lose customers because of his dirty mouth I will never shop here again

They refused to accept returns unless we had bought them from him. Michigan law says if they sell the brand they must accept the returns. I will never go back there. I'm trying to find out who to turn them in about their practice on returns. They have told others they must spend the return money in the store.

Wow, the prices are sky high and the place is dirty and unkept. I went here in spite of this because it's close . The retard at the cash register starts accusing me of robbing a quarter machine somewhere because it was in the paper and I used 3 dollars in quarters ! "It look like it " he said. Well it looks like he's ISIS to since we're so superficial around here

I like the guy who runs it...been around here for years now. Would like to see a bit more diverse beer selection but, no real complaints.
