It had been a few years since we last visited Dead Bear. We ordered a variety of dishes, starting with the gluten-free chicken tenders, which had a wonderfully crispy and flavorful breading—not soggy at all. Our guest was thrilled to find gluten-free chicken tenders, as they’re not commonly available. She also ordered sweet potato fries, which might just be the best we've ever had—seriously, they were that good.

Next, I tried the spicy Thai noodle salad, which was tasty but could benefit from a bit more crunch. It included a few slivered almonds, but adding more crunchy elements would really enhance it.

The highlight of our meal was the “pig tails and cheese,” which is macaroni and cheese topped with pulled pork and bacon. This dish was fantastic; I couldn’t stop tasting it and will definitely order it for myself next time!

Our server mentioned she was new, but she did a great job and made an excellent Moscow mule. This place is definitely worth a visit for some fantastic food!

Love this place, we've been coming for years and have never been disappointed! Renee took great care of us and the food was delicious. We started off with the mozz sticks, perfectly golden and super stringy and moved on to the All American burger and the fantastic Aporkalypse sandwich with fries. Washed it all down with the Peanut butter Porter, soooo yummmmy!!

The food was very bland, and my IPA was flat.
I found a long blonde curly hair cooked into my French fries, and all they did was take $2 off my bill. How disappointing.
The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the waitress was very polite.

I stopped at Dead Bear briefly on the road north, and I was very happy with my time there. The waitress was friendly and the interior was quite comfortable and warm feeling. I tried their oatmeal stout and it was very rich and smooth. I’d definitely like to stop by again sometime to spend more time.

Had a flight of their draft beers (5 4 oz pour, price vary in beer), and my usually super critical husband loves them. Food are great too: Got the Reuben Egg Rolls ($11); everyone was suspicious about how this would turn out but everyone loves it. Got the Aporkalypse ($14) and Cuban Sandwich ($13): both very meaty but cuban is on the smaller side than what we used to get. Crispy Golden Cod ($14) with onion rings (+$3): it's good but only 2 fish pieces. Onion rings are really good; may get a whole plate of it if come back to the area again.

Interior is amazing. "Outdoor" dining area is comfy and warm with garage doors propped 1/3 open to provide multiple air changes. Our meal consisted of Fried pickle appetizer ( meal by itself) Reuben and crispy chicken sandwich. The Reuben was stacked well and the side of onion rings was more than I could eat. My partners chicken sandwich was a little over cooked but they got slammed right after we ordered, and with likely one person in the kitchen we can forgive this.
My only complaint is the paper used in the serving basket causes the bread on the bottom side to go soggy quickly. The kitchen staff may not be aware of this because when they send it out it's nice and crispy. Not sure what the workaround is but it's definitely an issue when I get to the other half of my sandwich and the bread is soggy on the bottom side. Despite that the place it is impeccably maintained, the food is excellent, service is excellent.

Really enjoyed this experience of an up-north brewery. They have some fantastic selections. The flight was delightful. I really like their sugaa bear and the send it beers! Sweet potato fries were a fantastic. They have an arcade with old school games if you'd like some nostalgia, or if you have kids. I thank Jesus for this place!

Fast to go option and dining in service is amazing! Staff is always friendly. Such delicious food. Unique options with the best FISH sandwich I have ever eaten!! Highly recommend!
