First time here. Had the smoked turkey, baked beans, coleslaw, and a brisket slider. Everything was excellent. The barbecue sauce was vinegar based and tasted great. The turkey was moist and had a hint of smoke. The brisket slider was some chopped brisket and was really good. Cornbread was northern style, sweet and moist.

Staff were very cool. The owner took me out to show me his 500 gallon reverse flow main pit, and his smaller chicken cooking pit. The meat is all cooked by live fire wood splits. No gas. Very cool operation.

Interior is fun and comfortable. This was an excellent experience and you should try it if you're in the area.

Wanted to try this place due to the"brisket" burnt ends.. umm that's not what I got. It looked like pork slop with lots of grease. Not a good taste. Mac and cheese was very very mushy, and the side of beans were tiny. For $20 I expected more.. won't be back

Happened upon this wonderful restaurant on a Friday afternoon ride. We’ve eaten smoked meat all over the U.S. The food tops anything we’ve ever eaten. The brisket slider was so tender and flavorful. Hubs had ribs and found them perfectly smoked, tender and very meaty. If we could give this more than 5 stars we would.

Nice little bbq shop. Food is quality.
I really enjoyed the 1/4 chicken, $3!!!! What a steal. The pork sliders had a good smokey flavor. I was not a huge fan of the bbq sauce, it reminded me of a Mariana sauce with vinegar. They were sadly out of Mac and cheese, but it saved me from getting a meal.

Their prices are amazing for what you get.

Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

My Fiancée and I decided to stop here last weekend and it was so good!! All 3 of our boys devoured their pulled pork sliders and we had also tried the brisket Mac and cheese as well as the 1/2 lb brisket and it was absolutely delicious! I love their bbq sauce!! We tried a bite in the car on the way home and ended up just eating in the grass outside to enjoy the sun, because we couldn’t wait to go inside and set up to eat, once we tried it 😂

The service was friendly and over all we were a very satisfied and happy bunch after our dinner 😁

This place is great. It’s amazing how people leave 1 star reviews so easily. Burnt ends were delicious. Beans were not over sauced and spiced which I appreciate. It gives you taste buds a break from the flavors. This is the first good coleslaw I’ve had in Michigan. Can’t wait to come back and try the chicken. 👍

10/10 Will be recommending this place to literally everyone that mentions Harrison. This is the BEST BBQ I've ever had, and I used to live in Tennessee. If you're looking at this review, please, please, please, trust me. You NEED to eat here. The building is tucked away next to a garden center, so you have to watch for it, and it's 100% worth every penny (it's also reasonably priced for what you get).

Nice surprise to see a familiar face at the register! Sides: Mac n Cheese was very good, Slaw was incredible, Macaroni salad is on point, the baked beans are very good! The meat: Chicken was done to perfection. Ribs were tender and juicy. The pulled pork is in comparison with down south. Even tho I'm not a Brat guy I have to say it was damn good! The only thing the meal was missing was a few slices of white bread or cornbread. Other than that I have no reason to complain. Damn good Que and I see why they sell out before close!!
