My favorite place in Houghton. Amazing beers and good prices and beautiful view. If you don't have time to sit down and enjoy it. They also have mixed pack cans of popular beers. Highly recommended!!

Three level brewery right on the water. They have great indoor AND outdoor seating overlooking the water. I loved it here! You can bring our own sandwich in if you wanted something to eat. Staff was nice. They weren’t too busy and good pricing.

The beer is pretty good. It’s very warm if you sit inside. The fans on the ceiling are not very effective and the airflow is minimal to none. They either need to update their fans or get air conditioning. Would recommend sitting in the patio if possible

Beer-Theres tons of breweries around Michigan, the thing this one has that the others don’t is a local spruce infused brew that is fresh and punchy. It’s 6% so beware! The other beers are good as well, and you can get a flight to try them all out. Non drinkers can also hang out here, because they have homemade pop and non alcoholic beer.
Atmosphere- the view from the back porch is exceptional, on the river near the bridge. Inside is warm and lodge like, with tons of seating, a high ceiling, and a guitar anyone can pick up and play.

Service- the employees are casual, and attentive. You can get very comfortable here, and there are regulars sitting at the bar chit chatting with them.

Fantastic brewery with a gorgeous view of the Houghton/Hancock bridge and Quincy Mine. They do not serve food, but you can bring it in and enjoy it out on the back deck anywhere. The bartenders were very friendly and offered help on the best 5 brews to add to my flight. Prices were great and so was the choice of tshirts.

Killer brewery in a awesome little town in the Upper Peninsula of Northern Michigan.

I'm a Canadian that's been drinking their beer for many years and have yet to have a bad brew!

The Pick Axe Blonde and Red Ridge are my personal favorites. The Blood Orange notes in the Red Ridge make it so damn refreshing. The Pick Axe is a light, goes with anything type beer, easy drinking and not heavy!

Do yourself a favor and have a pint or two at the brewery in Houghton, the Keweenaw Peninsula is amazing in autumn 🍂

The absolute best service! The bartenders make sure that you aren’t waiting for too long and always seem interested in what’s going on with the customers. They will converse with customers if they have time and take interest in peoples lives. Great balance between friendly and professional.

Great beer, friendly folks, outdoor patio and lots of seating! Oh and realistic pricing $3/pints!!!!! $10 growler fills!!!!

Good selection/variety of beer choices.

Don enjoyed the black IPA so much that he had to get a growler full (only $10) to bring back to camp! They don’t serve food but there are many options nearby. Some deliver and some are so close you can go grab something and bring it back to the patio.

We ordered from Joey’s seafood grill - super delicious and such friendly staff! They don’t deliver but they’re only a few business down the block and they called me when it was done. The sweet woman I ordered from even met me halfway!
