At first I was thrilled by the presentation. But as soon as I started to eat the lamb shawarma stick it was like chewing on leather and gristle. I guess that’s what you get with low prices. I began to read the 1 star reviews. I can agree with all the one star reviews. The chicken in the hummus is extremely salty. So bad I couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth. Chicken was also 100% precooked. It was cold like it came out of the frig. The garlic spread was amazing.

I’d like to try the other location in Detroit. I’ve heard that place is amazing. Personally wouldn’t order from here again. Being a franchise, you think that they would all be consistent.

I placed a pickup order from this location for the first time. I didn't have a bad experience. I was actually reading the reviews as my husband went in to pick up the order. Once he got back in the car, I read a review aloud that talked about the staff being on their phones...etc. My husband said wow that's true because one of the customers was trying to get the attention of a staff member who was apparently tunnel visioned into his cell phone, My husband said he even tried getting the workers' attention,but appeared as if he was ignoring them ( maybe he had ear buds on?). Anyway, the chicken swarmas were very good! The fries weren't bad at all. Judging from the reviews, it seemed like we lucked up and had a good experience, so I'll just let that be my one and done for this location. It's appears to be hit or miss!

Well when I went in I wasn’t greeted and there were 3 young humans standing up front. I placed my order and that was it. But upon observing the other customers entering the establishment they were asked if they were dining in or taking out, I wasn’t asked. They were all on their phones and looking as if they just wanted the day to be over. The atmosphere was very dry not very upbeat at all. Maybe I went on an off day. But the food was delicious, and I would more than likely call my food in to pickup. I didn’t like the mood at the time, and again maybe they were all having an off day.

I just got charged $9.00 for a fattoush salad with only 1.5 pieces of crunchy bread and $0.75 for a sprinkle of feta cheese……..

Came to pick up my dinner and noticed this employee stuffing the lettuce and meat that was sticking outside of the container back inside with her bare hands. Smh disgusting. If your name is Joshua and you ordered from DoorDash around 8pm, I hope you prayed over your food. Literally watched her touch everything without washing her hands a single time. The employee standing near her was eating bell/banana peppers with ranch literally right next to orders that were being bagged.

First and last time ordering from this location.

The food here is delicious, but the service is horrible. The staff are rude and inattentive. You have to get their attention to order because otherwise they'll just stare at their phones while you stand at the counter. They constantly get orders wrong. Last night I got a tub of hummus with my salad in lieu of dressing. They also marked the wraps wrong. I accidentally ate two big bites of my girlfriend's falafel wrap before i realized it wasn't my lamb even though it was marked "LAMB".
Oh, and don't make the "mistake" of going up to the front counter to get your pickup order if you ordered via their website, you'll get dirty looks from the staff and be informed that you're supposed to pick up online orders from the back counter as if you're supposed to know that despite there being no signage to that effect.
Would not recommend until they get a staff that actually cares to do their jobs and properly.

Beware if ordering vegetarian, and check your order thoroughly when you pick up. Apparently they can't be trusted to get it right... Ordered online and picked up in store. Receipt showed correct order, but when arriving at home, discovered I received a Chicken Shawarma instead of the Vegetarian Shawarma I ordered. I don't eat meat. Tried calling the store, and no one picked up. So, no dinner and out $9. Buyer beware. This was my first and last visit to this location. Very disappointing... Apparently, this wouldn't have be a surprise if I had read the other reviews.

Takeout order on 1/11/25 - the hummus had gone bad and tasted fermented. The salad and dressing container was put at the bottom of the bag and other things thrown on top, so the dressing container opened and leaked everywhere. I had handled the bag very carefully. It was a total mess and you’d expect more from somewhere that does such high carry out volume. Sad to say I won’t order from this location again. Bucharest used to be amazing when it started out.

Aside from this it was fine. Appreciate they maintain low prices.
