Stopped in for the first time yesterday, the atmosphere is really cool , the service was great, our server was on top of it. The food was incredible, we had the bosco sticks, pizza and smash burger. All were great and we will be back for sure

Crispelli’s Bakery and Pizzeria in Grosse Pointe is a must-visit for pizza lovers. I sent my Husband to pick up my Caesar salad and I can’t believe they are charging $14 for Lettuce a piece of bread and a half sprinkle of cheese I’m out done ! Not that they care but they will never get another red cent from me! And another thing the Bread was sooooo hard and unable to bite through it could break your teeth ….

I was excited when I heard Crispelli's was coming to the eastside, but my first experience was very meh🫤.
The restaurant itself is nice enough, but smaller than it appears from the outside. It almost has a fast food feel which showed in the set up and very young staff talking in a group. Not that they were especially loud, but again the store is small. 4 or 5 people chatting just on the other side of the room in the afternoon isn't the best vibe. In addition the pizza wasn't great. Not that it was terrible, just greasy, messy and not at all what we're used to in Berkley. The salad was good.

Visited Grosse Pointe Woods Crispelli's new restaurant for first time last night. Party of 7, 3 pizza's with large salad. As we walked through the doors, felt welcome with greeting from staff behind the counters. Being the first time having ever eaten at a Crispelli's, we were unaware of their policy that you can not place an order for takeout with the expectation of eating the food on site if space allowed(to shorten wait time) consequently a bit of confusion ensued. Finally, since there were plenty of tables available, we were told it would be OK this one time. One of the staff from behind the counter brought our order in boxes with a few plates and forks and set them in the middle of the table. As we were waiting for the last two of our party to arrive, the waitress approached me and informed me, we would have to bus our own table when we finished our meal and pointed to the station where the trash and dirty dishes should be placed. From that point forward, we were pretty much ignored. I found this very curious as there was a staff member "bussing" other tables of patrons that had left. When we finished our meal, I did just that, picking up all the dirty dishes and used paper products in the appropriate places. When nearly finished, the young man cleaning the other used tables offered to finish cleaning our table. I thanked him for the offer but finished my task.
I have to say, I was a little taken aback, not with Crispelli's policy, but with the expectation that one group of patrons who purchased a complete meal, but with permission was granted a deviation from their policy of the establishment was told to clean up after they had finished their meal when specific staff was available and was completing this task for all other tables in the restuarant.
Honestly, with the events transpired, I really doubt that I will ever visit Crispelli's again.

What a great pizza place! The service was friendly, and fast. We stopped in for lunch. Ordered the white pie, build your own and the spiedini appetizer. The spiedini was delicious! I love that it came on a bed of arugula that was dressed. I added my leftover arugula to my (white) pizza. The pizzas were cooked perfectly. The crust was crisp and delicious. On the make your own we had pepperoni and bacon. I would have liked the bacon to be spread out more evenly. It was just in clumps. Otherwise everything was great. We will return!

Still trying local pizza places. Crispelli's looks new to GPF. I ordered a carryout online. Good service at the front counter. Pizza came out hot and smelled and looked good. Still hot when I arrived home. Generous toppings. A good pizza that is unique to the area, as far as I've tried so far. A 15" with two toppings was $22.20 after tax.
