First time eating here and for the most part it's a solid 4 stars. Server was very friendly and food came out quick. Salsa was good. Didn't really care for the queso or maybe I just wasn't used to the style they do. Got the Chipotle burrito and they had that thing stuffed with onions and tender steak with cheese. It was delicious and hefty. Overall it's a good joint for where it is.

Recommend! Great new location with nice indoor/outdoor (closedinpatio) seating, all well maintained and clean. Food was nice and fresh and service was attentive and friendly. This is one of the few Mexican restaurants I’ve visited where their guacamole is some of the best, with traditional ingredients (most restaurants omit certain ingredients or change recipes, not here, very traditional) and delicious flavours.

Food was good, but it felt like the portions were small. I had the birria tacos, they were street taco size, with a small scoop of beans and rice, and the consume, which was pretty good. I also got the street corn, which was two 2" long pieces of corn, like they cut off the ends of the ear, and kept the middle. Service was OK, she was pretty attentive, although I finished my iced tea and didn't get offered a refill, while my friends got water refills. The salsa was good, same with the chips, but the salsa bowls were less than half full, and I ran out twice. A little fuller of a bowl would have been nice. Overall, it was good, and I would recommend.

Not sure how this place gets so many 5 star reviews I've had great Mexican food this isn't it. Lets start with the good. The botana platter is decent(not 5 star but good. The have a decent salsa the chips are also good. I have eaten here many times due to proximity of home. I actually liked them better when they just had the food truck. The service of good. I have one problem still not resolved. The price online (their own website) is less than in the restaurant or even takeout. Just a few items but the items I eat. When I brought this to their attention I just received shrugged shoulders and an attitude to match. There are a number of decent Mexican restaurants in south metro Detroit this isn't one of them. They also seem to like their food more than most at least they charge more than most. I have had a few steak dishes and each one has been poor quality cut and well overcooked. If you're in Grosse Ile and you want decent Mexican I would recommend you buy the ingredients and cook it yourself or drive to Mexicantown you have 4 or more better restaurants.

The food was good. But the music was too loud and could barely hear the waitress, and because we couldn’t hear each other my order was wrong. I will absolutely order take out in the future, but I will refrain from dining in.
