I came here today to pick up,my appointment was 5 pm,it is now 12:04 am,I arrived an hour early ,8 hrs so far,check in was smooth,,guard shack very courteous,driver before me was here 9 am to 6 pm,I wish these situations did not exist in the lives of drivers,Sara lee is a reputable brand,why then such a lack of respect for drivers? this is an example of really bad management,owner operators take notice & make sure the broker has a good detention policy,if I ever have to come back here again ? I will call ahead,if they have product ready? I will take the load or pass on it.

The security guard named David at the traverse city location is a very unpleasant person. Every time I'm there he is very rude, rolls his eyes and shakes his head when I ask for the person I'm delivering to, I have never done anything to deserve this treatment and I'm sure he is this way with many other people. It makes the company look very bad

Five stars for the nicest people ever here, I have never been treated so well at the shipper or receiver.
Overnight parking available, port a john restroom only. It may take a few hours to get unloaded though.

Fellow truckers , all the reviews about picking up from here are 100% correct, they make the material to be loaded while ur trailer is asked to be dropped on the dock, 8 pm appointment -7 pm check in - 5 am checkout . Staff is super nice , especially the lady at the gate was very nice .

Nice enough people but always slow to load. Been here a half a dozen times to pick up loads and it’s always 3-5hrs. Pull in the gate and sit on scale while checking in at guard shack. Guards always polite. Call shipping office and I’ve always got a door right away. They make you drop and unhook from your trailer and wait along the side fence for your trailer/paperwork to be brought to you. Hook back up, go to scale and check out with guard...On the plus side they will let you leave if you wanna bob tail down to the store or get food or whatever. Go shopping, see a movie or sleep. You always have a few hours to kill. Once again nice people but slow. Not the worst place by far, just wish loading was faster.

Every person having contact with me, was absolutely friendly. You can stay all night next to the fence. Its a dropp off trailer facility. Check in 18:15 pm check out 10:02 next day. I think my trailer has forgotten in the yard.

They have Overnight parking, but no restrooms but there is a McDonald across the street you can use their restrooms
The guy at frozen shipping office has no sense of talking
