Our server was genuinely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. Even my one year old’s grilled chicken off the kids menu was impeccable. I would have given 5 stars except my ravioli came out lukewarm and kind of dried out. It still tasted amazing though. My husband and eldest daughter were very happy with the bison meatloaf and the chicken sandwich. Overall a great dinner and experience!

Fantastic food, fine prices

The chicken and sausage nachos are a must get. One of the best nachos I’ve ever had, but on the border of not being nachos as they’re made with wontons and not tortilla chips.

Their wings are good. Smokey flavor and the sauces are good. Smoke brisket burger was your run of the mill burger. Nothing special. The sweet potato fries were good, but a bit on the burnt side.

The roast beef sandwich was very good. And so was the pub salad.

Server was very friendly and welcoming.

Overall: 8.1/10

•3rd time here! Brian took care of us! Super nice guy, very attentive, funny, great server, epic beard!

Food was great and they even made us a virgin Michigan Cherry Mule!

Can't recommend enough of you're looking for good food, drinks, and atmosphere in Grand Haven!

•Second time dining in at The Paisley Pig. Second visit was just as good as the first.

The service is top notch and all of our needs were well attended to.

Food is a little higher on the pricing tier, but fairly price because of it's quality and presentation.

The atmosphere is dark and moody like your average pub. My only complaint or observation would be that space is at a premium, it's a little spartan when it's a full crowd.

All-in-all, Paisley Pig is a great place to grab a bite with friends or family for good food in a great atmosphere. Just wish I had pictures to share. Guess I have to capture those on my next visit!

Enjoy!

Had great service from Sydney - she was friendly and timely. The pretzel app was good, but overcooked so it was a little tough, but sauces were good. Turkey sandwich was a huge portion and so yummy. Strawberry mocktail was also good

What an absolute disgrace! $30 fish and chips dry and burnt. Plus nasty brown warm Cole slaw. Pulled pork sandwich was skimpy on portion and sauce. Was also dry liked it was left over bottom of the pan from weeks ago. Horrible at any price point.

Great burger and fries, but not so great service.

- Bacon Cheeseburger: Full flavor and great all around. The burger is flame broiled and thus by design a little dryer, but there is still plenty of juiciness to it! You don’t make a burger like this without skill. The bun was a wonderful addition and the slight honey undertone was a great addition. The temp was spot on and so were the toppings.

- Seasoned Fries: Great seasoning with a kick. They were thinner (which is my preference) and full of flavor and it had a light crunch. I’d highly recommend it.

- Service: We arrived before they opened on a Monday (11 AM) and waited for the doors to open. We were the only ones in the restaurant for the first 20 minutes. We were seated immediately and cheerfully. The service was generally good and cheerful…

…when we had service. The waitress did not check on us all that frequently and took a long time to finally get the check to us. There was another table that was seated and waiting as we were waiting for our check and another couple waiting to be seated. I finally walked around the corner and asked to pay after waiting.

She was on her cell phone texting. Disappointing. This would have been a five star review otherwise.

- Atmosphere: Rich wood interior and yet felt like home with all the decoration. The bathrooms were clean, though a little smelly when we stopped.

Stopped yesterday, Monday first thing at 11 AM, which was during the Coast Guard Festival 2024.

Nothing but great things to say about this place. Food was fabulous and our server Sara rocked! Iggy was also great! Loved the appetizer platter, so good. The pretzels and the corn dip were delish. All the servers are hard workers here. They’re very attentive and help each other take care of their tables.

I made a reservation so my family wouldn’t have to wait and when we got there our table was being reserved for us. Which was awesome! Started off good. Then our server came around and got our drink orders and it took 10-15 minutes to bring those. Then we ordered our food, it was t anything crazy, we ordered the cheese curds for an app and I got a turkey sandwich, my daughter got something off the kids menu and my kids split a pizza. My husband got the ribs. It took 1 entire hour to get our food. We seriously think the server forgot to put our order in, because there is no way it would haven’t taken that long. It wasn’t even that busy. The food was ok, but waiting that long put us off, then when we got the bill they had added gratuity on since we were a party of 6. We have 4 kids, we have never been counted in the “parties larger than 6” count, won’t be coming back if we come back to town, too many better places.
