We live in a trailer park. Several times in the last year they have shut the water off for repairs. NOT ONE TIME have they given notices or even bothered to knock on doors. And today they shut it off and disappeared. Nobody is working on it.But let me be one day late on my bill and my mailbox is full. This is illegal and unprofessional. The last time it tore up my washing machine. Do better. Or those of us with brains will get fed up with this and contact lawyers. It's real easy. Just knock on doors.

I have no experience with "this place", but I have experience with the Linemen that "this place" sent to Cape Coral, Florida. The men worked tirelessly. Told us that they were here, until we had power on our street.
After 11 days w/o electricity due to Hurricane Ian, these guys are our HEROES!!
Thank you Troy Utilities for sending your men to help us. We definitely appreciated them.

Very helpful people in the office, made my transition and move so smooth. I only have it a 2 star rating because of the ladies that helped me. I recently had a extra high bill (for me). It was $70+ and I'm used to $50 since it's only me. So I paid majority of the bill and left a $17 balance to pay off until the next month. I received a letter in the mail stating i was charged being $5 late fee. And of I didn't pay by the 22nd then my utilities would be cut off. So I got on a work trip and my utilities had been off when I returned. So I check my bill to find out the $5 fee was added and a $10 shut off fee so that my utility bill could be an amount over $20 to be shut off. I have never seen this in my adult life. I understand the $5 fee maybe but numerous emails and letters for $17 is crazy. And to acquire fees to shut off service with a customer that has a card on file, and paid every month in full except for the one is absurd.

I would rate it a 0 if I could. EVERY MONTH, I feel justifiably anxious about opening my utility bill. EVERY MONTH, I feel robbed by the local utility company. Who do we even complain to about outrageously expensive utility rates? My bill this month was 440.00 and I never ever turn on my central unit!!! I really believe I am being tricked into paying other people's utilities, "ALLEGEDLY." Help us, God, in Troy, Alabama! Y'all pray with me!

My interactions and experiences with Troy utilities employees over the past year have been smooth and professional. The pay online method has worked as expected too.
