Great cocktail bar in the middle of the downtown shopping district. Beautiful bar in what used to be the concession stand of an old theater.

The drinks seem to be riffs on classic cocktails with things like beer-barrel aged whiskeys, and seasonal simple syrups.

The Dragon's Milk Old Fashioned was a sweet take on the usual cocktail with a simple syrup made with the New Holland stout and orange and mile bitters. I also did a Fitzgerald, a gin-based drink that I had them make with a rosemary tangerine gin. Less sweet and rosemary forward.

Tye was holding down the fort and took his time to guide us through their spirits, so awesome job, there.

Definitely worth a stop if you want a chill atmosphere and craft cocktail.

My wife and I stopped at New Holland Distilling - Grand Haven Tasting Room one night and enjoyed some drinks. We had Lake Life Lemonade and One In A Melon, they were good although the One In A Melon was very sweet.

Great stop for drinks! Such a cute place inside, love the historic details they kept in the building. All the staff I interacted with were super friendly. Drinks tasted great & had a good non-alcoholic options for those in my group who don’t drink. We took them to-go to walk with, but will be back for more!

Great addition to the GH social district. Spirits only with no taps, hence the name. Outside of that, I would highly recommend stopping here for some of their hand crafted drinks.

Good service and drinks. Had amazing cocktails that are very unique and tasty. Even have a few zero proof mocktail options that sound delicious.

It is nice to see this place open again, and I am happy that a local to West Michigan company is occupying this space. Regarding the space, I do miss the coziness that the Theatre Bar once had. New Holland now has obliterated all sense of comfort in this location. But here are some tips that New Holland hopefully follows that could improve the experience.

1) Turn the lights down at night! Geeze! This place is like an interrogation room!

2) Git rid of the big cooler that sits in the middle of the bar. Not appealing looking and totally ruins the quaint look that this place could have. You're not a 7-11. That we can tell by the high prices. And while you're at it, do you have to stock so much product on the shelves? Ruins the look of the place and again, It kills the vibe. Why not display just a few items and keep the rest stocked in the back or basement? You would have room for more furniture then.

3) With furniture in mind, what is with the layout of this place? Terrible feng shui. Speaking of Chinese Terms, the furniture seems like it is from a cheap Chinese restaurant. So uncomfortable! You need comfortable, welcoming seating in this joint if you want folks to stay long and buy your expensive drinks.

Congrats to The first establishment in Grand Haven in over 10 years to kick us out of outdoor seating b/c of having our dog with us. This is during the sidewalk sales and this business was far from busy. Plus- we actually purchased drinks from the walk-up window and were minding our own business with our very friendly dog. Nice.

The staff (Lindsey & Romero) were absolutely outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. The drinks are quite good. Prices are okay. Would recommend to others, plan going back again during week stay in Grand Haven.
