Enjoy the healthy, organic, locally grown food for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Menu (paleo, paleo plus, vegan) offered each week have a variety of meals from week to week. You can specify food allergies, if any, when you order for 2, 3 5 or 6 days a week. Meal sizes from regular to large delivered to your doorstep (depending on location) in thermal bags or available for pick up at their facility.

Food is really not health oriented—tomatoes, peppers are highly inflammatory—garbanzo, soy, are seriously not good for most people and that’s all they use in the vegan, and taste is meh! Look out for these places!

How did I ever get by without Foodsmith? Their meals are delicious and totally filling! I don't even have to think about what's for dinner (or breakfast or lunch) and can focus on the things I want to do because the meals are already cooked. Their whole team is great!

Really wanted to like this place with few choices of meal prep in Santa Cruz. I bought one week of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is something really off about their eggs, they have some weird coat of slime on them. Everything they make is on a bed of spinach which smells and tastes old. The chicken, which is almost every meal, is inedible dry. The smell and taste of the breakfast my 2nd day literally made me vomit. This place is going to make someone really sick at some point, and I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. It was so bad that I didn’t even pick up my second installment of meals halfway through the week. They don’t have an actual person you can talk to, only email, so I wrote them twice asking for a refund and an explanation of why they are serving this to people. They didn’t even have the class to respond to my email. This is clearly a dying business, which is probably in the best interest of everyone’s health. Look elsewhere.

I placed my first order last week and picked up my bag on my way to work. Upon arriving I unzipped the bag to find a most amazing array of colorful and artfully created meals. Each of them has a distinct personality and worldwide cuisine... I love my Foodsmith food! I am looking forward to my next set on Thursday. Officially I will sign up for weekly meals because as a 40+ hour a week RN I need to keep myself healthy and avoid fast food that was becoming my norm. Thank you for this wonderful and delicious start to my week!

Food is okay. Super healthy and typically very edible. Hate the salads - often contain wilted, rotten lettuce, even on delivery day.

Delivery drivers can’t follow instructions and ring the doorbell, so yet again my order was stolen minutes after delivery. Caught it all on the Ring doorbell cam.

A few weeks back, there was no evidence of a delivery at all on my Ring doorbell, and the manager was super rude to me - treated me like I was lying instead of taking accountability for the fact that they delivered to the wrong place.

I am again without food and having to shop/meal prep after already paying them. The manager told me last time, when they never delivered, that they “won’t refund for stolen food ever again”. I did ask that the manager’s email be forwarded to the owner, but nothing ever came of it.

I should never have given them another chance to put me in this position. And today is thanksgiving… great day to be completely without food and having to find an open grocery store 😔 Plus I’m out the grocery money I paid for this order…
