One of our top favorite wineries across Napa and Sonoma. We really like their new spot and the servers are excellent and super friendly. The new place is such a cool spot to hangout and they have excellent wines. Sometimes we’ll just drive up to chill here, have a drink, and play cards. It’s usually pretty easy to walk in but with the new location you may want to grab a reservation just in case.

Beautiful location, although slightly hidden in plane sight. Highly recommend Obsidian both for the wine and for the vibe - we enjoyed both!

My wife and I recently enjoyed our 30th wedding anniversary at Obsidian Wine Co. In all my years We’ve only belonged to one wine club and that’s Obsidian. The Obsidian staff made our anniversary an unforgettable celebration. They arranged a private wine tasting in one of the vineyards. We were met by Hana and learned about all Obsidian wines, the vineyards, and the Obsidian owners. After a couple hours in the vineyard we continued the fun at Base Camp. I bought a 2007 bottle of Cab and shared it with others visiting the Base Camp. Thank you to all of the Obsidian staff who took part in making our 30th anniversary an amazing celebration.

Some excellent wines. Kelcie was the perfect guide and understood just what I was looking for. I created some really nice receipes to go with the Gamay Noir and the Pear-Blanc.

A fantastic little tasting experience just off the beaten path. Hana took great care of us explaining the unique terrior of the obsidian vineyards and what to look for when we were tasting. Our favorites were the Kati syrah and the Hungarian sparkling farmer wine!

Amazing experience at Obsidian, thanks to Hana!

Can't say enough good things about Obsidian wines and their tasting room experience! From the moment we stepped into the tasting room, Hana took such good care of us. Her passion for Obsidian is contagious (we left with a club membership!) and she expertly guided us through the diverse selection of wines, offering an interesting story or fact about the vineyard or winemaking process. Her attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm made our experience at Obsidian really memorable. It's rare to find someone who can blend professionalism with warmth and charm, but Hana does it well! We can't wait to return and explore more of what Obsidian has to offer, highly recommend a stop here if you are in Sonoma.

We stopped in as a last minute decision and walked out wine club members. We loved the wines, Suehayl was a wonderful fountain of knowledge and ensured we had a great experience. We look forward to receiving our next shipment and hopefully visiting the winery grounds and doing the volcano tour one day.

We had a great tasting today. This winery is fun and unique. Taste wines made from single source family owned vineyards. Look up their video on the volcanic AVA that tells their story.

Started with a lovely "Jacobson Ranch" Sauvignon Blanc that that exquisite. Pear, pineapple and green melon notes. Enjoy with cheese and fish.

Enjoyed the "Boon Fly's Hill" chardonnay, which exhibits fresh butter and Meyer lemon notes, followed by a fun, funky "Pezsgo" sparkling pinot noir.

I love wineries that make what they like, which makes what I'm tasting really interesting.

The "cuvee Kati" named after the founders wife and current winemakers mother is a luscious blend of five Bordeaux grapes.

Finishing with the "Half mile" cabernet Sauvignon was a perfect way to end the taste.
