Awesome service and delivery. Soil is excellent and better quality compared to the big box stores. A tad pricey, but including the service to have it delivered and installed was a plus. Was a little disappointed to see the delivery was hired out to contractors as I was looking forward to chatting with Nathan. Looking forward to topping off with the magic mix moving forward.

When we purchased our home, what we looked forward to most was creating a backyard space that drew us outside and not only looked great, but also had purpose. Having a vegetable garden makes us feel excited to go outside everyday and check on its progress - to see what new growth is starting or the first signs of our actual veggies coming in. It makes us so happy. --- Mostly feeling uncertain about how to get started and what to plant when. It felt overwhelming without having direction or a plan. --- I heard Nathan's personal story of how his business came to be on the Jacksonville Public Library's podcast, "Completely Booked" co-hosted by Hurley Winkler. Hearing that episode left me feeling excited about growing my own groceries and the idea of learning from someone so knowledgeable and so local. We wanted an experience that was both educational and interactive, which is what you were providing. --- Education and the actual materials. Expertise and resources. Confidence, that we can do it! --- It was the morning after we finished installing and planting our first set of raised beds. We opened our window shades and looked out at the new garden beds that had just been watered, and we couldn't wait to get outside to admire it. That was the moment we knew we were going to be hooked on growing our groceries, and made us want to help others. --- It's beautiful. In this unique time with COVID-19, having our garden gives us something to look forward to everyday and helps keep us content to be at home. It's a reminder of a simpler time. A sense of pride.

It was a pleasure working with Nathan AKA The Man in Overalls. I am a novice gardener and appreciated the "turn-key" service. Nathan helped me select the location of my garden boxes, provided recommendations on brands, presented cost options, assembled the boxes, installed an irrigation system, and filled the boxes with "magic mix" soil. He then guided me in planting summer hardy vegetables, herbs and flowers. It has been a pleasure to watch the garden grow, and I look forward to a bountiful harvest. Nathan returned about 5 weeks after planting to provide a check-up and replace a few plants which had not thrived. He also provided advice on maintenance and harvesting. Highly recommend!

I wanted to share the joy of growing food and cooking with my kids but my ambitions for a large and aesthetically stunning food garden were too big to accomplish on my own. I was hesitant to work with traditional landscape design companies as I felt they wouldn't "get" my vision. I found Man In Overalls on the web and was impressed with how beautiful and varied their designs were and the range of follow-up services they offered to keep the garden tidy and productive put them on another level. They collaborated with me on an amazing design, got started quickly, and finished the large and labor-intensive project fast. The finished product is well done and looks amazing, and we've started eating out of the garden daily in under a month! --- I remember when my son and I we were setting out the transplants and seeds with Nathan and the Man and Overalls team and the excitement we shared. --- I'm grateful that I chose Man in Overalls to install my garden, it exceeded the vision I had. I have been dabbling in the thought of a backyard garden for a while. Nathan and his team along with other members of the group enabled me to put this dream into action. --- Not knowing what to plant and when. Not planting the right plants at the right time was very frustrating. --- I needed someone to assure me that with the proper basics I could have a bountiful garden. --- Magic mix and listing monthly guides for what to plant for the season. --- After having incorporated Magic Mix into my raised beds it was very obvious that the plants were thriving. --- Still learning as this was not a skill I grew up with. Fertilization and insect/ fungus control are still areas I would like to learn more about. The computer setup can be a bit frustrating as I am not computer savvy and have a hard time accessing certain sites. Overall very pleased with the Overall's community

I met Nathan thru one of his free lectures and was very happy to learn about his unique service. Nathan will not only build your raised beds, he will be with you every step of the way, from helping you choose the best site in your garden, to supplying you with the best soil (his own Magic Mix), to suggesting what to plant depending on the season, and installing your own micro-irrigation. My vegetables are healthy and pesticide-free, I am growing my own food!

The whole experience felt surreal. We just don’t see this kind of teaching everyday. I feel more kids and families could benefit from learning to grow their own foods. He comes up with a game plan and helps you execute that plan. He also teaches you why, where, and how to do everything. Our take away from it was the learning experience, the responsibility of caring for our garden, the tools needed, and the bond and memories it creates. Every time we walk by our garden it makes us smile. Thanks Nathan!
