Just picked up 3 ears at Food Lion Middletown....holy smokes! It was good. Mom always spoke of the hot summer day (before ac) when they ate just corn ears with butter for supper. I think she may have had Papen corn

I bought corn from a store who bought it from there. Worse mistake ever corn was very small tough and chewy. Could not eat it. Don't know the variety they grow but never had a worse ear of corn in my life had to return the whole dozen. Messed up my whole family barbeque. Don't buy from stores who sell it. You might lose a tooth like i did trying to eat it.
