After 2other horrible technicians from 2 other companies, I was happy to find Universal. They were courteous and professional (Dennis was our tech). He diagnosed and EXPLAINED what was wrong ordered the parts and was back in a week to install. The price was fair with no hidden fees. The office did there part as well by calling us and letting us know when the part was in. These 2 other companies that came in was like begging them to get the job done calling over and over to get no info, they were nightmares! Do yourselves a favor, if you want a repair done right, call Universal, I have nothing but positive comments to say about this company!

Stole $200 dollars! this company provided repair service and finally fixed it correctly on their 3rd attempt. Then ultimately charged me more than what was even listed on their final receipt. They never credited it back - and now have been fighting my dispute with AMEX. to be clear their own receipt has a total of $1,033 and they charged my credit card for more and refuse to give it back. I have now spent 2 months trying to recover this. They should be paying me at this point!!

A. Assuming you are telling the truth why not reach out and share your perspective? Zero communication from your company even after I filed the dispute. But you sure are quick to write a short story for the google review.
B. Second, this repair wasn't even at a home - so maybe go tune up your story a bit.
C. Lastly, never agreed to your mythological revised estimate. Assuming it exists, why not share a copy with my signature?
Post it the revised estimate I authorized & I will gladly delete my review. 😉

NO NOT use them, they are frauds! I called this company to come fix my washing machine that was leaking water. The guy came out spent a lot of time on the phone and then told me he Couldn't duplicate the problem but it would be $69, he had 2 very soaked towels on my hardwood floors next to my washer and said that was from him cleaning up under the washer. I said I cleaned the water up already before he came, he said well it must be extra water in the line or you didn't close the door all the way, but it doesn't leak and I couldn't see any problem BUT he tells me that when I call him back for the same issue he will deduct the service call from his 179 labor fee plus the cost of parts. I called the number on the invoice when he left, someone answered, he could care less, asked if I wanted to speak to a manager then put me on hold and never picked up the phone!!!! AGAIN DO NOT USE!!! Oh and I immediately called another company, they located the hose that was leaking within mins.

I had a horrible experience with this company. The guy who came to do the service is Russian he didn't speak any English and when he tried to explain to me the inspection that he did, I couldn't understand a word. I told him that the problem with my washer was the water level and the spin cycle leaving the the clothes wet. He ran a spin cycle without any clothes. Hello!! how are you able to see the problem with no clothes in the washer! Then he checked the water coming out of my hose and said it was my water pressure. Again how are you able to determine that with no clothes in the washer?. But the worst part was his attitude, he got frustrated at me because I couldn't understand what he was saying. Please save yourself a headache and don't use this company.

Universal Appliance repair is one of the worst buisness's that I have ever worked with. My dryer is 2 years old and stopped spinning, they came out and replaced a part, and two months later it had the same problem so they had to come back, and told me it needed two more parts. Two months later the exact same problem happened and they told me I need another part. In the mean time their technicians would show up two hours late, with no apologies. I truly believe they are a huge scam and leave you at the mercy of their knowledge, constantly replacing stuff that didn't need replacing and no solutions. They dont guarantee their work or and keep demanding money. DO NOT USE THEM THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF NICE PEOPLE.

Service was great. I would recommend. The JenAir product is very poor. I installed all new JemAir appliances 10 months ago and have already had to replace my double oven (which took 3 months to get it done!) and have had your service team out for my JenAir refrigerator three times ( and still no remedy!). My $2000 refrigerator freezes my food! Never buy JenAir!!!

Worst customer service. from the miserable tech to the man answering the phone. didn't do a thing. Didn't repair what was asked. Didnt want to make customer happy, rude on phone.

Excellent service - expert technician. Called in advance, arrived on time, immediately identified the trouble with a new GE dryer and repaired it on the spot. Can't beat that.
