Went for brunch. The food was good but nothing extraordinary in my opinion. The plating was pretty but the egg dishes were just ok tasting. The ambiance is always fun; casual but high end. The service is great.

The salted butter was incredible and the espresso martini was perfect. Not too sweet as i requested. Park in the lot for a small fee.

Coming from out of California - must try the roasted apples & goat cheese toast. Still thinking about those apples 2 weeks later.

Ordered the crab pasta which also came with a very satisfying amount of crab, and the pasta cooked to a very melo, calm and mindful level of al-dente.

Coffee is also very nicely priced for such a fine establishment!

During a weekday afternoon lunch visit to this place, I noticed they offer parking validation, and it's quite an interesting combination with a restaurant, part grocery store, and more.

However, I was a bit startled when the lunch bill came to $120 per person, even though it did include two glasses of wine. Especially since my main dish was just a salad.

We sampled the liver mousse, the chicken salad, and the crab saffron pasta. The mousse and pasta were delicious, but unfortunately, the chicken salad was a total letdown. It had a clean flavor, but it was horribly bland.

Overall, it's a good spot with great service and a nice atmosphere, but for the price, every dish should be outstanding.

Wonderful selection of pastries. Tried the mushroom + gruyere danish — wonderful! The French toast was quick but fluffy inside. Breakfast biscuit was a little too buttery for my liking, but delicious nonetheless, perfect for a small indulgent serving.

Will definitely come back for a full breakfast soon.

Inconsistent, Sloppy and Entitled Hosting Experience – Weekdays vs. Weekends

My wife and I have been loyal patrons of this restaurant for years, and the host during the weekdays has always been exceptional—friendly, professional, and efficient. Unfortunately, the weekend hosting staff during the day is a completely different story.

On a recent daytime visit, despite having a reservation, my wife and I were left waiting while the weekend hosts seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to guests. To make matters worse, a blonde-haired girl, who I assume is a manager, came over to chat with the hosts at the check-in. She was completely in her own world and extremely dismissive of the situation. Her attitude only made the disorganized and indifferent atmosphere from the hosting team worse.

Why do they have such an entitled attitude, was what I heard another guest say in the same situation as us. That's a good question, why?

Many friends of ours have also shared their disappointment with the weekend daytime service, having experienced similar issues. On this occasion, we even saw other guests, who arrived leave out of frustration.

The service during the week is consistently excellent, but the weekend daytime experience is shockingly inconsistent. Until the weekend staff, including management, improves, my wife and I will not be returning, and we will recommend our friends do the same, although that seems to be already happening automatically.

This is for the bakery. I specifically asked if their pastries were fresh, and the cashier said they make them in the mornings. The Italian danish I bought was incredibly stale—very unlikely that it was made the same day. Flavor was fine, but they lied to my face. Cool cool cool.

Really fantastic Smoked Fishes platter and too much to finish there. Same with the massive brioche toast in the French style; one left behind each by two diners. Great coffee and looking forward to trying other plates soon.
