They have all the best smoked meats... let me tell you. We bought all the flavors of the salmon (you know because we couldn't just choose one).. my favorite was the sesame bourbon ?... Do yourself a favor and run.. don't walk. Lol

I discovered this gem via. recommendation from Tambo up at Tambo's Shack. As I just moved to the area, I inquired about any good, worthwhile smokehouse or BBQ joints given they're among my favorite staples.

Let me just start out by saying I graduated college, lived, and worked in Texas for years. Texas is where everyone and their mother use "the best Smoked or BBQ meats there is" to draw customers and promote themselves.

These guys are amongst the best smokehouses and BBQ joints I've dined at/from probably above them to be honest. Whether Smoked chicken, turkey, salmon, amberjack, tuna, jalapenos. They capture the flavor profile, tenderness, texture, everything you'd look for in a smoked meat to a T. I can't compliment them on their work on an adequate level.

I Highly recommend giving them a go if you're visiting the area, fresh off the boat moved to the area, or even a local that hasn't tried them yet. If you're someone that loves, craves, and is looking for high quality smoked meats and other products/options. They WILL NOT disappoint. Don't deprive your taste buds or stomachs of this place. A+++

If you're request it, are lucky, and catch them on a good day, they may even whip you up a thing of homemade Alabama White Sauce. ?

Best kept secret in the area!! The meat is to die for! The fixin’s are amazing! If you love brisket- get there on Thursdays because they sell out quickly. The tuna dip and salmon dip are fabulous! I can’t brag enough about this smoke shop!

Purchased smoked salmon and redfish and also some salmon. Probably the best smoked fish I've had and have tried a few. Rub is similar to popular pork shoulder rubs, maybe a little cayenne but no real heat. Highly recommend!

Simply the best! Best smoked whole fish (esp. pompano), best smoked tuna dip, best smoked double pork chops, best salads, best location (if you park @ Walmart), and best employee/owners!

Every smoked item is gourmet and the SMOKED SALMON SAMPLER COMBO is superb. This, the smoked cheddar/pepper jack cheese block, and the Big Daddy Porkchops are all staples of an exceptional charcuterie board!

I’m coming back every single time I visit LA! ?

Recommend calling in large orders ahead of time: you’ll be glad you did!!!

The portion sizes are on the smaller size, but where very good. $17(ish) per meal

Brookman's is professional grade BBQ. We ordered a single brisket to be used as a topping for baked potatoes, or for brisket sandwiches, for our beach house dinner tonight. All 24 people here at the beach house agreed that this brisket was 10 stars out of 5!!!! Absolutely worth every penny. The meat just literally fell apart! Juicy and flavorful.

Probably the best pork chop I've had in a while!. Got some smoked trout and a smoked bologna chunk.. tasted like more, so I'll be back!

Update. I turned my coworkers on to this gem and we've been enjoying the various fish, ribs, sausages and of course the pork chops almost twice a week! Got one more week here, so we will see ya soon. Thanks
