Placed an order in February but I made a mistake of ordering 1 less mushroom bag than I wanted. I contacted Adrian via email who replied the next day and very kindly added it on to my order for free. My order arrived within 4 weeks (as stated on the website this is a very busy period) and all in perfect order.

I ordered 1kg Grey Oyster mushroom sawdust spawn and 1kg Enoki mushroom sawdust spawn, and split the grey oyster spawn into 3 bags (along with straw pallets from the same order). The mushroom bags are very good quality and holding up so far.

Attached pictures of my first ever mushroom growing venture, and this week I have noticed they're now starting to fruit (just over 3 weeks)! Really happy with Gourmet Woodland Mushrooms, their prices are quite good compared to other online stores as well.

After purchasing some poor quality mushroom kits from large online gardening companies I was delighted to find Gourmet Woodland Mushrooms which has such an extensive range. Adrian quickly replied to my initial enquiry with advice about which mushrooms to grow. I opted for 4 x 3kg blocks. Two to grow in my shed in the cold - Enoki and Winter Brown Oyster mushrooms, and two for indoors yellow oyster and black pearl oyster. The blocks were made to order and took around two weeks to come, ready to grow! The Enoki, winter brown and yellow oyster are already growing mushrooms after just a week and half. Adrian has swiftly replied to any queries I've had. I am a complete novice and with no kit but a spray bottle I'm enthralled by the progress of my mushrooms. Many thanks Adrian!

Fantastic quality and product range. Yes, they do have backlogs and you may have to wait (lead times are clearly shown on their website), but that's purely down to the fact they're so popular. Highly recommended.

This company may be cheap but they have a well known reputation for having huge backlogs and sending out unfinished products because of this. When i tried to return an unfinished bag with next to no mycelium inside i was flatly refused . I would highly recommend using any of the many suppliers on eBay instead, at least you will get your money back if not satisfied, all you will get here is rude emails and ignorance ! , as i did 🙁
