Great tasting honey. I'm so glad I found a local place instead of buying from the supermarket.

I was expecting some sort of storefront or at least someone to show you around the place, but no, it's literally just a table outside with their products on it and that's it.

It would be great if they could make the place nicer in the future and maybe offer tours but all in all can't complain, I got what I wanted which was locally produced great tasting honey. $13 for a pint.

They also relocate bees from around the area so if you or anyone you know has a bee problem please give them a call instead of killing them.

Ultimately, four extremely large hives (up to 100K bees each) with multiple queens were removed. You mentioned the hives were the largest that you have seen and it was thankful that nobody or animal was attacked.

James not only removed the large colony of bees, he found a wasp nest & removed it also. This was in August 2020. He took great care to ensure we understood the steps he would take, and to keep us safe from any swarming bees while he did the work. He gave us honey from the nest, but the best thing is knowing that pesticides weren’t used and the bees were rehomed successfully. Thanks again, Encinitas Bee Companyv!!!

Wonderful local honey! It’s amazing and tastes much better than any store bought honey. The prices are very reasonable. Rose is so sweet and usually throws in a little something extra since we buy gallons at a time. We will always buy our honey from Encinitas Bee Company!

Quickly diagnoses what must be done, reasonably priced, executes flawlessly and adds extras not expected. We had a hive form in our solar array power line junction box, that was located in the ground. The lid to the box was not sealed, so the bees formed a nest in the box. James replaced the lid to totally seal the box from intrusion and efficiently removed and placed the bees with a local beekeeper.
